Artist Alley Rules and Policies 

General Rules
1. Registration and Badges:
- All artists must be registered participants of Furry Weekend LA and wear their event badges at all times within the Artist Alley.
- Artists must display their Event Badge at their table.
2. Table Assignments:
- Tables Assignments will be sent out 6 months prior to the event via email.
- Artists are responsible for their own table setup/ breakdown and must keep their area clean and organized. 

3. Setup and Breakdown:
- Artists may set up their tables during the designated setup times. If the Artists is a no show without any communication the table will be forfited and given to the at con waitlist with out any refund. 
- All tables must be broken down and cleared by the end of the designated breakdown period.

 

4. Operating Hours:
- Artists must adhere to the operating hours of the Artist Alley.
- Late arrivals and early departures should be communicated to the Artist Alley Coordinator.

 

5. Artwork and Merchandise:
- All artwork and merchandise must be appropriate for a general audience.
- Explicit content must be clearly labeled and displayed in accordance with event guidelines.
- No bootleg or unlicensed or Al generated art is allowed.

 

Conduct and Behavior
1. Professionalism:
- Artists are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Disruptive behavior, including loud music or offensive language, is prohibited.

 

2. Interactions:
- Artists should treat all attendees with respect and courtesy.
- Harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the event.

 

3. Safety and Security:
- Artists are responsible for securing their own belongings.
- Furry Weekend LA is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
- Any suspicious activity should be reported to event security immediately.

 

Sales and Transactions
1. Pricing:
- All prices must be clearly marked on artwork or signage.
- Artists must honor all posted prices and deals.

 

2. Transactions:
- Artists are responsible for their own sales transactions and must provide receipts if requested.
- Cash and electronic payment methods should be handled securely.

 

3. Tax Compliance:
- Artists are responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable sales taxes.
- Artists are responsible to get a California Tax License from the State
- Furry Weekend LA does not provide tax advice; artists should consult with a tax professional if needed.

 

Compliance and Enforcement
1. Policy Adherence:
- Failure to adhere to these rules and policies may result in warnings, or expulsion from the Artist Alley/Event without refund.

 

2. Complaints and Disputes:
- Complaints or disputes should be directed to the Artist Alley Coordinator for resolution.
- Decisions made by the Artist Alley Coordinator are final.

 

3. Changes and Updates:
- Furry Weekend LA reserves the right to update these rules and policies at any time.
- Artists will be notified of any changes in a timely manner.

 

By participating in the Artist Alley at Furry Weekend LA, you agree to abide by these rules and policies. We aim to create a fun, safe, and enjoyable environment for everyone involved. Thank you for your cooperation!
